Although Taiwan currently lacks designated sex districts, individuals across the country continue to engage in this profession. Many may be driven by financial pressure, unforeseen hardships, deception, or threats, meaning they are not genuinely willing participants who turn to sex industry just to pay their bills. When they wish to leave the industry or face related challenges, stigma and discrimination make it difficult to seek the help they need.

In response, TWRF launched this website in 2023, aiming to gather resources and provide a safe, anonymous platform for sex trade service providers seeking counseling. The site offers career transition information and connects individuals with local support services. For those currently involved in sex industry, the site also provides guidance on legal considerations, workplace risks, personal safety, health education, and self-care to help safeguard their rights and allow for more informed decision-making regarding sex industry. 

Ultimately, our goal is to ensure that everyone in the sex industry, whether they entered by choice or not, receives the respect they deserve. By sharing information and personal stories, we hope to reduce the stigma and discrimination faced by sex trade service providers, and provide comprehensive support for those wishing to smoothly transition out of the industry and into new careers.
